First Presbyterian Cemetery

Buried in the First Presbyterian Cemetery are O. Henry's parents (Dr. Algernon Sidney Porter and Mary Jane Virginia Swaim Porter), his grandparents (Sidney and Ruth Worth Porter), and three uncles (Oscar, Henry, and Charles). A historical marker in the cemetery also contains a biographical inscription about the author and his family. The cemetery is a short distance from the Lindsay Street School marker.
