A streetcar line runs from here to Central Piedmont Community College, which holds a yearly celebration literary and other arts: Sensoria. Riders who alight at one of the intermediate stops can admire the glass-walled shelters for passengers, into which artist Nancy O'Neil has incorporated elements of local and natural history.
