Getting Help Evaluating OER at UNCG

Remember that UNCG Libraries are here to help, and you have a lot of instructional technology and online learning resources to help you evaluate OER to use in a course. 

• UNCG library liaisons can recommend OER repositories and resources for your subject, as well as implementing open pedagogy. 
• If you’re a student interested in creating or advocating for OER in your classroom, UNCG Student Success Librarian Melody Rood can help.
• UNCG instructional technology consultants (ITCs) can help with online learning and instructional technology. 

You can always chat UNCG Libraries through our virtual chat service with any questions you have about OER. Be sure to also be on the lookout for calls for UNCG’s OER Mini Grant, where instructors can apply to receive a $1000 stipend to implement low- or no-cost resources in their course, eliminating a textbook or other costly course materials and saving students money.
